I was born in a small town in the Rockies in Canada, came to Australia as a young man, and stayed. I took up art in retirement and although I don't have any formal training, I do have a real passion for it and if there’s a secret to it, i guess that's it.
I find landscapes and portraits equally challenging and gratifying- for about the same reasons: there seems to be an infinite amount of both.
