Features

ARTIST NOTES: Plastic is knitted into the fabric of our society. From the ubiquitous plastic bag to the hidden plastics like those found in textiles, food cans and milk cartons. Plastics designed to biodegrade still persist in the form of micro and nano particles and are absorbed by marine life. This sculpture is a framed installation that depicts a literal interpretation of this problem. Materials used include paper, plastic, acrylic and wood.
